Llama  Ranch
Wild Plum Llama Ranch started in 1994 with a small herd
of llama males and geldings used for picnic hikes and
camping trips in some of the Texas State Parks. As the
llamas and the handler aged, the focus shifted to breeding
and showing llamas with a special interest in suri llamas.
The original working llamas are now retired.

Thanks to the friendship and advice of Danny Keller, Wild
Plum Llama Ranch has assembled an array of herdsires with
varied physical and fiber attributes as well as great
dispositions. By combining these genetics with those of an
incredible herd of large, correct females, Wild Plum Llamas
is producing cria that are second to none.

You are invited to visit the ranch from October through April
when all the llamas reside in Weatherford, Texas. During
the hot Texas summer, most of the llamas are vacationing at
Cardinal Oaks Llamas in Florissant, Colorado.
